Have you ever had one of those days where no matter what you are trying to accomplish it just isn't working out? Everything you touch seems to break, malfunction, or just isn't cooperating...Well today for me it seems that the items that are malfunctioning are my fingers and my brain!!!
Even now as I try to type this post, my fingers seem to be moving with a mind of there own! If you have ever been there then you know how infuriating it is to want your body to do one thing and have it do something COMPLETELY different!
I shouldn't complain about this thou, there are people all over this city, country and planet that have no use of there limbs at all. There are people who have diseases that take control of their bodies and everyday is a struggle for them.
I should be thankful that today is a day that I am healthy and strong...instead of complaining that I can't seem to make things go the way I want them to.
I hope that if you are having one of "those" days that you can find something, anything to be thankful for. It is amazing how much it can change your attitude to take a moment away from dwelling on what you don't have or what is going wrong and think about what is going right, or what you DO have.
Having a thankful heart helps to put your problems in perspective and gives you time to figure out how to fix them.
I feel soo much better now! :-)

The unwelcome house guest
Dear bat or bird that flew into my house via the chimney:
While I am flattered that you chose my house to visit, I am quite displeased that you simply invited yourself over. I completely understand wanting to make an entrance, however crashing thru the fireplace grate and scaring the pee-waddle out of me was bad form!
And after the spectacle you made you hid...perhaps my screaming in terror made you nervous, but dear friend you must understand my point of view: I was already snuggled in ready to work on a hat that I'm making and minding my own business!
Please kindly stay in the great outdoors where Mother Nature intended... Thank you!!!
